Hi Everyone,
For the past 3 years, I have served as the KSBA webmaster. I have been proud to serve in this role and always worked hard to build the KSBA website into a valuable resource and communication tool. Looking at the website now, it’s hard to believe that the one I inherited was only 3 static pages. The calendar, the news posts, the Buy Local page, and most of the rest of the website didn’t exist. However, as we move into the new year, I have realized that it is time for me to pass my duties as KSBA webmaster to someone else.

I sent the KSBA Board my resignation letter, effective immediately, on Dec. 31. I had already scheduled several news posts about bee schools and other upcoming events, so you will continue receiving news post for at least a few more weeks. Hopefully, by then the Board will be able to find someone else to serve as webmaster.

I have truly enjoyed serving Kentucky beekeepers and talking with many of you either through email or as we met in person. I plan to continue being active in beekeeping and serving beekeepers, just in other ways. If you want to stay in contact, feel free to email me at I have already transferred the account associated with this news post to the KSBA Board which means I won’t receive any replies directly to this news post.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to serve you and beekeepers throughout the state.
